These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") cover your use of bailabeatsacademy.com and the classes and memberships sold by Baila Beats Academy, LLC, doing business as Baila Beats Academy ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, buying a class package or a membership, or coming to a class, you agree to these Terms.
We teach Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia and Mexican Folklore group classes at 2603 S Miami Blvd, Durham, North Carolina. We also run parent and baby classes at Beyond Birth Lactation Services & Boutique, 1911 Hillandale Rd #1010, Durham, NC 27705, plus social dance nights, workshops, private lessons, class passes, and monthly memberships. Class nights, times and levels are listed on our schedule page.
Every purchase comes with a 14 day money back guarantee. If a class, plan, pass or special is not for you, text (919) 525-2853 or email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we give you your money back. After those 14 days, sales are final.
You can cancel a monthly membership at any time by texting (919) 525-2853 or emailing [email protected]. Your classes keep working until the end of the month you already paid for. Salsa Beginner Special spots do not carry over to a later cycle. When you opt in to text messages from Baila Beats Academy, LLC, you agree to get recurring messages about your question, your account, your classes, and, where you agreed to it, offers.
Please arrive on time and bring clean shoes for the floor. Levels build on each other, so we may ask you to start in Level 1. We can move, combine or cancel a class when we need to, and we will tell you as early as we can.
Dancing is physical activity. By joining our classes and socials you confirm that you are healthy enough to take part, and you accept the risks that come with physical activity. Talk to a doctor before you start any exercise program. As far as the law allows, Baila Beats Academy, LLC is not liable for injuries that happen while you take part.
We take photos and video in class and at socials and we may use them to promote the studio. Tell us in writing if you do not want to be shown, and we will keep you out of them.
Our videos, class material and choreography are ours. They are for your own personal use. Please do not copy, sell or hand them out without our written permission.
We are proud of a friendly, respectful room. We can remove any student whose behavior is abusive or disruptive, without a refund.
Our classes are provided "as is." We do not promise any specific result. As far as the law allows, the most Baila Beats Academy, LLC can owe you for any claim about our services is the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using our services, you accept the updated Terms.
Everyone who takes a class, a workshop or a private lesson with us agrees to the waiver below.
Waiver
I do hereby consent to my participation in Baila Beats Academy.
I acknowledge that participation in this dance workshop may expose me to the possibility of injury. I grant Baila Beats Academy and/or dance venue staff the authority to obtain emergency medical treatment as necessary to ensure that I am safe from further injury. In consideration of "Baila Beats Academy" allowing me to participate in its dance workshop, I agree to waive and release "Baila Beats Academy" from all claims for damages that may arise, other than by negligence of "Baila Beats Academy", its employees and agents, as a result of my participation in its dance workshop.
I am aware that I may appear in a photograph, or video, taken by dance workshop staff or local media and that photograph or video may appear in a variety of media sources on behalf of "Baila Beats Academy". Please note, that under no circumstances will "Baila Beats Academy" divulge your name without express written permission.
